Finally got to the sub-floor and it was rotted around the toilet. Will have to remove the bad wood and replace it.

I forgot to take a picture before I started. In these pictures you can see the backer board being laid.

Kitchen into Laundry Room

Very tiny kitchen, the plan was to move the kitchen into the dining room and turn this room into a laundry room.

After taking the cabinets down we found the floor was rotten and the wall needed to be replaced. While the wall was open we had Matt Mertz rough in the plumbing for the laundry machines.

Dining Room to Kitchen

I had a LOT of help on this project. My boyfriend and I sanded and refinished the floor. I had to hire someone to move the radiator to the other side of the room. 

A friend helped me to wire the electric to code so that there would be counter top outlets. 

I used tape to layout the position of the cabinets and counter tops.

Here you can see the new position of the radiator. 

The walls were in pretty bad shape, so I hired someone (was still working full time at this point) to put drywall over the ceiling and walls to give me a clean evenish surface to work with. 

Ta Da! It took four months without a kitchen, but was totally worth it! The toe board wasn't put in till later, but you get the idea. 

The lovely shelf above the dishwasher was made be Never New Furniture.
